Insung Medical participated in the '34th International Medical Equipment & Hospital Equipment Show (KIMES 2018)' held at COEX from Thursday the 15th to Sunday the 18th and introduced various medical devices, including catheters.
Insung Medical is a leading domestic medical device manufacturing company that has devoted itself to research, development, and manufacturing of disposable medical devices since its founding in 1984. As a leader in Korea's disposable medical device business, based on accumulated experience and technology, we are leading the advancement and local production of medical devices and maintaining steady growth every year.
At this exhibition, Insung Medical introduced medical catheters and medicine sets developed with its own technology. In particular, 'V-Port' is a product that adds a flow rate regulator to the Human Bronco, a silicone double-tube endotracheal tube. While all double-tube endotracheal tubes in Korea are made of PVC, the Human Bronco has all parts that come in contact with the human body made of silicone. The advantage is that it is harmless.
Additionally, a flow regulator was added to eliminate the inconvenience of having to pinch the tube with medical forceps to control breathing. In addition, many say that the addition of a valve that can control the flow rate of breathing gas has satisfied the convenience of the operator.
Meanwhile, KIMES is Korea's largest medical equipment and hospital equipment exhibition that has steadily grown along with the development of the Korean medical industry since its first event in 1980. Currently, the domestic medical industry has transformed into a technology-intensive high-tech industry, including medical information systems, ultrasound scanners, medical imaging equipment, robotic medicine, AI, and rehabilitation medicine. KIMES is contributing to the advancement of the Korean medical industry and is emerging as a world-class medical exhibition. At this exhibition, participating companies are showcasing new technologies and new products in the medical industry, such as cutting-edge hospital facilities, medical information systems combined with IT technology, and automobile industry for rapid patient transportation.
