■Purpose of use
A coil-shaped device used inside a catheter to guide the catheter into the blood vessel.
■ How to use
① Position the patient in the correct posture for the procedure.
② Disinfect the treatment area with disinfectant agents, etc.
③ Cover the area to be treated with sterilizing agents.
④ Puncture the treatment area using a puncture needle or catheter insertion device.
⑤ Insert the vascular catheter guide wire through the puncture needle or the inside of the catheter insertion device.
⑥ When insertion of the vascular catheter guide wire is completed in the final position, insert the catheter through the vascular catheter guide wire. (If necessary, insert the catheter after removing the puncture needle or catheter inserter.)
⑦ Once the catheter is inserted into the final location, remove the vascular catheter guide wire from the blood vessel.
